I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 3
I've been playing around with my macro lens and having a bit of fun scaring all the bugs in my garden :p I found this tiny dandelion seed head stuck in a cobweb. I'm finding that my macro lens works best on manual focus. The different depths of field achieved by manual focus are a good way to play around and come up with different effects.
