I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 14
This image is of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. I shot their gig at the lovely river stage in Brisbane. I met some friendly fellow photographers and enjoyed the fresh air of the open arena. Worst mosh I have seen in a very long time! I tried to avoid eye contact as much as possible as I walked around in my vast photographers pit seeing squashed limbs and little teenyboppers gasping for air. As soon as the band walked on stage, lack of space was forgotten and a brilliant evening of delightful music was had by all.
