I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 53
I am extremely particular when it comes to converting my images to black and white. I like to ensure there is enough contrast and definition so that the images still remains enticing and doesn't become boring when colour is lost. I overlayed a subtle pattern to give this image more of a vintage feel. Because there is so much depth of field and shape, I think it works really well in black and white. The model is my lovely MUA Amelda. Check out her brilliant work here.....
