I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 34
I spent the majority of today with my eyes locked to the computer screen working on photos. During one of my million tea breaks I snuck outside and took this long exposure of my backyard. It always surprises me the beautiful colours and light that are uncovered when a long exposure is taken. I bought out the shadows/highlights using Photoshop and increased contrast and clarity using Lightroom.
