PHOTO DIARY

I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 47

I figured it wouldn't be a photography blog without some form of pensive, artistic, half naked self portrait.....so voila! In all seriousness I would actually really like to expand on the idea of adding textures and bright patterns to a monochromatic portrait. Playing around with the above photograph has given me a brilliant idea which I am excited to put into action asap. Yay!...it's days like these that make me really excited to do this blog :)
