I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 152
This image was taken from the Eagle's Nest (Hitler's Mountain retreat) on Kehlstein mountain, overlooking Berchtesgaden in Germany. It was such a strange experience being in one of Hitler's houses, knowing I was standing somewhere where he once would have stood. The view was absolutely phenomenal. I played around on lightroom to give this image a dreamscape like feel.
