PHOTO DIARY

I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 144

One of the many things I love about Europe is the fact that the animals are extremely free to roam around. I found this little guy casually drinking from a pond at one of Barcelona's main attractions. I like the angle and composition of this image. There is something sublimely calming about its simplicity.
