PHOTO DIARY

I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! Day 131

I took this image in London's St James Park. It was a beautiful (albeit rare) summer day as we wondered through the manicured lawns decorated with scurrying squirrels. I overlayed patterns to create a kind of 3d effect and to enhance contrast and colour.
