There's something really simple and peaceful about this image that I really fell in love with. Taken near Bond University at Varsity Lakes, I caught two swans landing.

Mirror mirror on the wall.....The above picture is actually the inside of a music box that my mother had when she was a little girl. I have always been enchanted with its design and thought it deserved a photo.

I love this image. The skin tone and my model Krystal are absolutely stunning. This was a shoot I did for PMA. The weather was beautiful, I couldn't have asked for a better day to spend at the beach.

Today was spent in front of my computer catching up on all my photoshopping work. I swear my eyes have turned square! I liked this image because I find the shape and contrast throughout to be quite interesting.

Day 107

I was lucky enough to get an invitation to the Logies this year and see One Direction Perform. If I had of been a 13 year old girl I would have loved tonights performance. However, being a 23 year old woman, and more of a Radiohead fan.....I can't say I was that impressed :p With all the hype I couldn't resist posting this photo!

Day 106

This is my beautiful best friend Irina. I was lucky enough to fly down to Melbourne and spend some time with her over the last few days. I overlayed this photo with an artistic texture on photoshop then bought the opacity down so that the details underneath could be seen.

Day 105

This is the lovely Shelley, one of our PMA models. I put a bit of an artistic edge on this photo. I think the pink and green tones work well together.

My nan gives quite strange christmas presents every year. Last year she gave my two uncles duplicates of the above metal statue. They weren't a fan but I fell in love with it and took the statue for myself. I have zoomed in, and changed my presets using lightroom to create the above image.

I'm not going to lie...I kind of developed a small (big) crush on the above artist after I saw him perform. Justin Townes Earl the son of Steve Earle performed to an excited audience. Dressed in plaid, his geeky exterior was swoon worthy.

I couldn't help but take a photo of this colourful character whom I found running around, beer in hand. Just a small look at some of the costumes and eccentrics at the festival.

I doubt the man in the above image needs any introduction, the one and only John Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival. John played the Blues fest as a solo artist to thousands of screaming fans.

The above image is of G3, arguably three of the best guitarists in the world. The threesome comprises of Joe Satriani, Steve Vie and Steve Lukather. I have never heard anyone play as well as these three. Their performance was one of the highlights of the festival.

There's something really industrial and decrepit about this image. There are clues in the exterior to expose a seemingly run down neighbourhood. Empty shop for lease next door, weeds out the front, no through roads and grey skies.

There's something about this image that I really like. I have a fondness for art in which the subject is not at first easily recognisable. The contrast of light and shape in this image give me a sense of mystery, and I find myself searching and trying to create a story.

I seem to be spending a lot of my time at the Mandala organic arts restaurant of late. Due to lack of seating we positioned ourselves in the tee pee, drank from coconuts, and enjoyed some soya ice cream.

A rainy late afternoon found mum (pictured above) and myself sitting at organic arts drinking coffee and talking about the world. She is always one to get involved with my photography and express ideas. She placed her cardigan over her head whilst I took this image. I think the contrast, colour and pattern work really well.

Day 72

This is the famous Mudgeeraba haunted house. Tucked away on Springbrook rd this creepy residence has quite the sordid history. Rumour has it post WW2 the family that lived in the house were a tad on the loopy side. One day the father took his wife and kids down to their war bunker and killed them, then killed himself. If you go around the back to the damn you can see the caretakers house just over the hill. He has been known to come running out shovel (or guitar so I have heard) in hand to chase trespassers off the property. Creepy!

Meet the ants that somehow manage to sneak into my house, into my sugar and into my cups of tea. Eww. There's something quite interesting about getting down close into the life of bugs. I took this with my macro lens and enhanced the colour using vibrance in lightroom.
